Integration of Adset.pro with Keitaro Tracker

Introduction

This guide describes the step-by-step process of integrating the Adset.pro platform with the Keitaro tracker. After setup, you will be able to:

  • Direct traffic from the advertising source through Adset.pro and Keitaro to the affiliate program
  • Receive postbacks about conversions (registrations, deposits) back through the entire chain
  • See complete conversion statistics in both systems

Step 1: Add Affiliate Network to Adset.pro

Since for Adset.pro the Keitaro tracker acts as an affiliate network (CPA), it is necessary to add it as a CPA network with the Keitaro template. This will allow Adset.pro to correctly format links and receive postbacks from Keitaro.

Action Steps

  1. Go to Tracker → Affiliate Networks

  2. Click the "Affiliate Network" button (green button with a plus icon)

  3. Fill in the main fields:

Field

Value

Select from Template

Select Keitaro from the template list

Name

Network name, for example Keitaro (Tracker)

Currency

Default payout currency (USD, EUR, etc.)

  1. The Keitaro template will automatically fill in the postback settings fields:

Macro

Value

Description

Click ID (subid)

{external_id}

Click identifier from Keitaro

Revenue

{revenue}

Payout amount

Status

{status: lead=reg sale=dep}

Conversion status that Adset.pro expects from Keitaro

  1. Click "Save"

Important

After saving the CPA network, copy the postback URL from the settings of the created affiliate program — it will be needed in the next step to set up the S2S postback in Keitaro.

The postback URL has the format:

https://adset.pro/postback/?clickId={external_id}&status={status: lead=reg sale=dep}&revenue={revenue}&currency=USD

Step 2: Add Adset.pro Traffic Source to Keitaro

Since for Keitaro the Adset.pro platform acts as a traffic source, it is necessary to add it as a Traffic Source. This will allow Keitaro to correctly receive parameters from Adset.pro and send postbacks back.

Action Steps

  1. In the Keitaro panel, go to Traffic Sources

  2. Click "Create" to add a new source

  3. Fill in the settings:

Field

Value

Name

Adset.pro

  1. Set up parameters for data transmission:

Parameter

Value (token)

Description

External ID (subid)

{event.event_click_id}

Unique click ID from Adset.Pro, to be passed to Keitaro

  1. Set up additional parameters (optional):

Parameter

Adset.pro Token

sub_id_1sub_id_15

{event.ext_sub1}{event.ext_sub10}

2.1 Setting Up S2S Postback in Keitaro

To ensure that Adset.pro receives information about conversions from Keitaro, it is necessary to set up an S2S (server-to-server) postback in Keitaro.

  1. In the traffic source settings for Adset.pro in Keitaro, find the S2S Postback section

  2. Paste the postback URL copied from the affiliate program settings in Adset.pro (Step 1)

  3. To pass our Click ID in the postback, use the Keitaro macro:

{external_id}

Note: the macro {external_id} is the internal Click ID of the Adset.pro tracker, which is passed through the external_id parameter when transitioning to the Keitaro campaign.
This identifier is used to link the click back to the conversion.

  1. Save the traffic source settings

Step 3: Create a Campaign in Keitaro

Now you need to create a campaign in Keitaro that will receive traffic from Adset.pro and direct it to the offers of the affiliate programs.

Action Steps

  1. In the Keitaro panel, go to Campaigns

  2. Click "Create" to create a new campaign

  3. In the Traffic Source field, select Adset.pro (created in Step 2)

  4. Set up the campaign (domain, filters, landing pages, etc.)

  5. Save the campaign

  6. Copy the campaign link — it will be needed in Adset.pro

The campaign link in Keitaro has a format like:

https://your-keitaro-domain.com/hashparam?external_id={event.event_click_id}

Step 4: Set Up the Campaign in Adset.pro

Use the campaign link from Keitaro to create bundles (offers and flows) in Adset.pro.

4.1 Create an Offer

  1. Go to Tracker → Offers

  2. Click "+ Offer"

  3. Fill in:

Field

Select CPA network Keitaro (created in Step 1)

Name

Offer name

Revenue

Base payout

  1. Save the offer

4.2 Create a Flow (Link to Offer)

  1. Go to Tracker → Links to Offers

  2. Click "+ Link to Offers"

  3. Fill in:

CPA

Keitaro (created in Step 1)

Offer

Select offer (from step 4.1)

Name

Campaign or offer name

Type

External link

URL

Link to the campaign Keitaro (from Step 3)

  1. In the flow URL, be sure to pass {event.event_click_id} — the click identifier Adset.pro:
https://your-keitaro-domain.com/campaign-alias?external_id={event.event_click_id}

If you did everything correctly in the previous steps, the copied link from Keitaro will already contain all the necessary macros. The URL input field will contain the GET parameters from your link.

  1. Save the link to the offer

4.3 Use the Flow in the Campaign

  1. Go to Tracker → Campaigns

  2. Create a new campaign or open an existing one

  3. In the stream set, add the created link to the rotation

  4. Set up filters (country, device) as needed

  5. Save the campaign and copy the tracking link

Use the tracking link in the advertising cabinet (Facebook, Google, TikTok, etc.) to launch traffic.

Troubleshooting

Problem

Solution

Conversions are not coming to Adset.pro

Check the postback URL in the S2S Keitaro settings. Ensure that the macro {event.event_click_id} is used

Check the click log in Keitaro for the presence of external_id

Check in Keitaro for received postbacks from the affiliate program

Click ID is not being passed to Keitaro

Ensure that the GET parameter external_id={event.event_click_id} is specified in the flow URL

Incorrect conversion status

Check the status mapping in the CPA network settings in Adset.pro
We expect the following statuses from Keitaro

  • reg- for registration

  • dep- for deposit

These statuses must be specified in the Affiliate Network settings in Adset.pro

Check the correctness of the specified link in the S2S postback settings in Keitaro

https://adset.pro/postback/?clickId={external_id}&status={status: lead=reg sale=dep}&revenue={revenue}&currency=USD

Zero revenue in postback

Check the macro {revenue} in the Postback Macros settings of the CPA network
