Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change my plan at any time?
Yes, but only to a more expensive plan or a plan with the same price. In both cases the full price of the new plan is charged and a new 30-day cycle starts.
What happens to my billing period when I switch plans?
On an upgrade or a same-price switch — a new 30-day cycle starts from the switch date, and usage counts from zero.
On cancellation — the current period continues until the end of the paid term, with no auto-renewal afterwards.
Can I switch to a cheaper plan?
A direct downgrade is blocked while the current plan is in effect. The procedure: cancel the subscription → wait until the paid period ends → activate the desired plan (its full price will be charged).
Will I get a refund for unused days when upgrading?
No. Proration is not applied: unused days and remaining limits of the old plan are not refunded and do not carry over. That is why it is most cost-effective to upgrade near the end of the cycle or once your limits are exhausted.
Will previously paid overages be refunded on upgrade?
No. Overages are payment for resources already consumed. After an upgrade, usage counters start from zero and new overages are calculated using the new plan's limits and prices.
What happens if my balance is insufficient at renewal?
The subscription fee is not charged, the plan switches to the Suspended status, and you receive in-app and email notifications. Once the balance is topped up with a sufficient amount, the plan renews automatically — immediately, no extra action needed. While the plan is suspended, individual overage discounts do not apply.
What happens if my balance is insufficient for an upgrade?
If the balance is lower than the full price of the new plan, the operation is rejected. Top up the balance and try again.
Can I avoid overage charges?
Yes — stay within your plan's limits. Usage is reconciled automatically roughly every 30 minutes; monitor consumption in your dashboard. If limits are exceeded, the system will charge the overage even if the balance goes negative, and will send a notification asking you to top up.
How does rounding work for tracker events?
Rounding down (floor): an overage of 12,750 events ÷ 1,000 = 12.75 → 12 blocks. You pay only for complete thousands of events; the remainder (750 events) is free.
Why is money charged when switching to a plan with the same price?
Switching plan functionality starts a new 30-day cycle — so the full new period is paid. All limits are granted anew under the new plan.
Are previously paid overages taken into account?
Yes. The system remembers how many blocks have already been paid in the current period. Double charging is impossible — you only pay for new overages.
How is the cost of extra team members calculated?
Proportionally to the days remaining in the current 30-day cycle. If you add a member above the limit mid-period, you only pay for the remaining days. This is the only metric with prorated pricing; events and installs are billed at the full block price.
Is there a free plan?
Yes — Starter: $0/month, 3 members included, no included events or installs. You pay only for actual usage: $0.10 per 1,000 tracker events, $0.04 per PWA install, $0.10 per iOS install, $10 per member above three.
What are iOS installs and how are they billed?
iOS app installs are billed per unit at $0.10 on all plans — there is no included allowance for them.
