iOS Apps
What are iOS Apps
iOS Apps are the functionality of the platform for working with real iOS applications from the App Store. Unlike PWAs (Progressive Web Apps), iOS Apps are native applications that the user installs through the App Store.
Applications are available from a centralized catalog administered by the platform team. You select the desired application from the catalog and connect it to your account, after which you can use it in campaigns.
Important: iOS App installations do not count towards the installation limit of your tariff plan and are billed separately — $0.1 per installation.
iOS Apps Section
The section is available in the side menu: PWA, APPS & LANDINGS → iOS Apps.
Access to the section is granted to all roles: Team Owner, Team Lead, Tech, Buyer.
Applications Table
The page displays a table of connected iOS applications with the following columns:
Column | Description |
|---|---|
Name | The name of the application with the icon from the App Store |
Category | The category of the application (Casino, Games, etc.) |
Size | The size of the application |
Age Rating | The age rating |
Min iOS | The minimum supported version of iOS |
Status | The status of the application in the catalog: |
Tags | Tags for organization and grouping |
Active | Whether the application is active in your account |
Created | The date of connection |
Filters
Above the table is a filter panel:
Search — search by application name (with a 300ms delay for convenience)
Status — filter by status: Active / Inactive
Tags — filter by tags (multiple selection supported)
Application Actions
When you click the ⋮ (three dots) button in the application row, a context menu opens:
Action | Description |
|---|---|
Manage Tags | Open the tag management dialog for the application |
Delete | Deactivate the application (disconnect from your account) |
When deleted, the application is not removed from the catalog — it is only disconnected from your account. A confirmation dialog will appear before deletion.
Bulk Operations
To perform bulk operations, select several applications using checkboxes:
Edit Tags — add tags to all selected applications
Delete — deactivate all selected applications
Tags
Tags allow you to group and filter applications. You can:
Assign tags to an individual application through the context menu or by clicking on the Tags column
Mass assign tags to selected applications
Create new tags directly from the assignment dialog
Filter the list by one or more tags
iOS Applications Catalog
The catalog opens when you click the iOS App button (green + button in the upper right corner).
Catalog Interface
The catalog is a modal window with application cards (3-column grid on desktop). Each card contains:
Screenshot — preview of the application (image from the App Store)
Icon and Name — the name is a link to the App Store
Category — the category of the application
Top Countries — up to 5 tags of countries where the application is most popular
Metadata — size of the application, age rating, minimum iOS version
Sources — icons of available advertising sources (Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
Banned Countries — a list of countries where traffic is banned (displayed in red)
Add / Added Button — connect the application or an indicator that it is already connected
Search
At the top of the catalog, there is a search field by application name.
Connecting an Application
Open the catalog by clicking the iOS App button
Find the desired application (use search if necessary)
Click the Add button on the application card
After successful connection, the button will change to Added (gray, inactive)
The application will appear in the table on the iOS Apps page
The same application cannot be connected twice. If you attempt to reconnect, a warning will appear: “This iOS App is already added.”
Pagination
The catalog supports server-side pagination with a customizable number of cards per page (3, 9, 18, or 30).
Using iOS App in Campaigns
After connecting the iOS App, you can use it in tracker campaigns. The iOS App is selected as a PWA in the campaign flow settings.
Automatic Filters
When adding a flow with an iOS App to the campaign rotation, the system automatically suggests setting up filters. An informational banner appears above the flow table:
Blue Banner (filters are set):
iOS App — iOS App filters are set: Device = Mobile, OS = iOS
Orange Banner (filters are not set):
iOS App — This stream set contains iOS App. Set up filters: Device = Mobile, OS = iOS, Countries (exclude banned ones).
The Apply iOS Filters button automatically applies all necessary filters.
What Filters are Automatically Applied
When you click the “Apply iOS Filters” button, the system adds the following filters to the stream set:
Filter | Value | Description |
|---|---|---|
Device |
| Only mobile devices |
OS |
| Only the iOS operating system |
Country | NOT_IN | Exclusion of banned countries from the application catalog |
Filters are applied in AND mode — all conditions must be met simultaneously. If a filter is already set manually (for example, you have already selected Device), the system will not duplicate it.
Billing for iOS Installations
Separate Accounting
iOS App installations are billed separately from PWA installations and do not count towards the installation limit of your tariff plan.
Cost
Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
Cost per installation | $0.1 |
Deduction | Automatic, from the team balance |
Billing Code |
|
Tracking Expenses
Expenses for iOS installations are displayed:
In the Balance Widget (BalanceWidget) — a separate line with the Apple icon
In the Billing Summary (BillingSummary) — in the plan usage section
On the Team Settings page — in the transaction history as
iOS Installs
If the limit is exceeded (if it is set in the plan), the amount for over-limit installations is automatically deducted from the team balance. If the balance is negative, you will receive a notification to top up.
iOS Application Statuses
Status | Description |
|---|---|
Active | The application is active and available for use in campaigns |
Banned | The application is blocked by the administration. Cannot be used in new campaigns |
The status of the application is managed by the platform administration. If your application receives the status Banned, traffic directed to this application will be redirected to another application.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is iOS App different from PWA?
PWA is a web application that you create in the platform builder. iOS App is a real native application from the App Store that you connect from the catalog. iOS App has separate billing and its own traffic filtering rules.
Why can't I see the application in the catalog?
The catalog only displays applications with the status Active. If the desired application is not available, contact the administration to add it to the catalog.
What happens when I delete an iOS App?
The application will be deactivated (disconnected from your account). It will remain in the catalog and can be reconnected. Existing campaigns using this application will continue to work until they are manually stopped.
Do I need to set up filters manually?
It is recommended to use the “Apply iOS Filters” button for automatic setup + apply filters for the traffic source. This ensures that traffic is directed only to mobile iOS devices and that banned countries are excluded. You can also set up filters manually if necessary.
What are “banned countries”?
Some iOS applications have a list of countries where their promotion is prohibited. These countries are displayed in red on the card in the catalog. When automatically setting up filters, traffic from these countries will be excluded. Traffic from banned countries will land on an empty App Store page.
